Youth to promotes culture and social Diversity in Satkhira

BARCIK organized a youth workshop at its Satkhira Resource Centre to encourage youth to play a greater role in promoting education, cultural heritage, human values, and social diversity. The event also elected a new executive committee for the Education, Culture and Diversity Protection Team.

BARCIK officials emphasized participating in the event said that youth have a vital role in preserving cultural heritage, respecting social and linguistic diversity, strengthening education, and building an inclusive and harmonious society.

The participating youth in the event reaffirmed their commitment to continuing leadership development and capacity-building initiatives for youth.

The newly elected executive committee includes Ifti Jamil as President, Farid Gazi as Vice-President, Nurjahan Khatun Moyna as General Secretary, Yasin Arafat Mahi as Organizing

Bangladesh Resource Center for Indigenous Knowledge, BARCIK is a non-governmental non-profit development organization. Established in 1997 by a group of development practitioners, researchers and social workers, BARCIK has been working in the fields of environment and development with utmost commitment and purpose. Registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau under the Prime Minister’s Office, Government of Bangladesh, to operate foreign funds.
