Representatives from Shyamnagar and Manikganj presented local assessments covering agricultural conditions, biodiversity, the impacts of energy intensive and agrochemical based agriculture, climate change, natural disasters, social challenges, and the potential of agroecological farming practices. Participants actively discussed these findings and shared field experiences.

The sessions covered key topics including agroecology, food sovereignty, climate justice, gender equality, women’s empowerment, farmers’ seed systems, biodiversity, human rights, market systems, disaster risk reduction, and climate adaptation. Through group work, participants identified barriers to agroecology and gender equality, proposed practical solutions, developed criteria for selecting target villages and farming households, and prepared preliminary action plans.
