A farmer solidarity rally and discussion meeting was organized in Barogachhi, Paba Upazila, Rajshahi, organized by Green Coalition and BARCIK.

With placards in hand, participants chanted slogans such as “Practice eco-friendly farming, protect pollinators” as they marched in a rally, raising awareness about the importance of bees and other pollinators.

Rahima Begum, Convener of Green Coalition, said, “Once, honeycombs were a common sight in village orchards. Now, they have disappeared. Commercial honey production is taking over, but we are losing the natural bees and authentic honey.”
